Design Studio 1 Review: Linear Element

The aim is to learn on how to use these elements of design in creating a quality architectural space. so we are required to design a special space.

special space.it can be anything that u feel it is special. let say, in a room. there are a table, wardrobe and balcony outside. You can say the space below the table is special. it depend on how u define it as a special space. how is it special. the colour? type of material use? shape? anything. in architecture, theres no right or wrong. it is wat u feel.. ecece.. pandai nye cakap zuhair ni.. ngee..

for this project, the idea of my special space is fallen leave.

it symbolised somber when someone passed away.(agak bagus kalau inspire dpd pengalamn sndiri.baru feel wat projek.tp tu dulu la.. bile tringat balik projek ni dgn konsep dia..aku rasa tade apa2 lagi dah.. kalau boleh tak nak fikir lagi pasal pengalamn yang entah bole caye ke tidak.. ops..da lari tajuk)

so ada dua leaves yg jatuh.

both interlocking each other. the leaves kind a like mourning toward the dead person(the special space yg interlock).

im creating 3 types of spaces, special space(interlock). dominant space(the space with double volume) and adjacent space(sace with single volume).

there are 2 main structres, the curvy linear and substructure- the straw leading towards the ground.
